About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Clinical Assistant to support our Clinical Operations Lead in managing in-house clinical studies. These studies aim to evaluate the impact of various products on the skin and scalp microbiome. The Junior Clinical Assistant will play a key role in ensuring studies are conducted in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Clinical Operations Lead in planning, coordinating, and executing in-house clinical studies.
Support participant recruitment, screening, and enrolment processes.
Prepare and maintain study documentation, including informed consent forms, case report forms (CRFs), and study logs.
Collect and handle biological samples following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ethical standards throughout the study lifecycle.
Coordinate with laboratory teams to ensure proper sample analysis and data management.
Monitor study progress and assist in resolving issues related to protocol deviations or data discrepancies.
Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external collaborators.
Contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports and summaries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
Previous experience in clinical trials, preferably in dermatology, skin health, or microbiome research.
Familiarity with GCP guidelines and regulatory compliance in clinical research.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
Experience handling biological samples and maintaining laboratory standards is a plus.
